I graduated as MEd. (ELT) back in 2001. I really enjoyed the programme, the way it was managed and delivered. Dr Cathy Nutbrown taught us a module and it was great fun to be in her class. I am currently teaching ESL at the University of Calgary, Canada.

Thank you for the Newsletter. I took the Dip. Ed. course in 1849-59. I was one of the thousands of ex-servicemen who went to university after WW2. I am a Sheffielder, so Sheffield was my first choice. I need hardly say that the changes in the university since then are beyond amazing. It is very satisfying to read of the School of Education’s achievements. Congratulations are called for.
Now, at 92 and long retired after working for many years in Africa, Australia, and the United States, I am happy to look back to my alma mater and to read of her accomplishments with pride.
